Try to imagine this scenario... you are given one day, and how you spend that single twenty-four hour period will determine how you spend the next thousand years. The rewards, the position you will hold, where you will live, and everything else for a thousand years will all be determined by how you spent that one day. Do you think you would give it your best? How would you live? Would you live differently than you are living now? How would your priorities change?
A thousand years, as long as that is, is NOTHING compared to eternity. And while one day compared to a thousand years seems like a tiny slice in time, our time on earth (even if it is 100 years!) is ZERO compared to the time we will spend in eternity! The decisions that you make today are eternal. Live your life today for Jesus, and not only will you make the wisest investment in your eternity, you will find the only possible means to true peace & joy here on earth!
